How YOU can help wildlife!
Visiting the Caribe Sur is an incredible experience. You will be surrounded by flora and fauna all day - every day.
But, did you know that the biggest threat to the animals of the South Caribbean is us humans?
Here are 10 tips on how you be a great steward of the Caribe Sur environment:
Reject any experience that allows you to hold a wild animal.
Keep at least 10 feet distance from all wild animals.
Be quiet and respectful when you encounter wildlife.
Never feed wildlife.
Do not take animal selfies. It is actually illegal in Costa Rica. Learn more HERE!
Be CAREFUL driving! Animals, such as sloths, do cross the roads.
If you notice an animal crossing the road, simply STOP. Encourage other drivers to STOP and let the animal pass. Do not touch the animal.
